The series "Mr. Mercedes" by Stephen King extended for the second season

Continuation of the multi-part thriller, which is based on the eponymous work of Stephen King, viewers will see exactly one year later. The premiere of the second season of the series "Mr. Mercedes" will be held at the end of next year.

At the center of the storyline is retired investigator Bill Hodges. Prior to his retirement, Hodges investigated a strange case of a mob run - a Mercedes driver rammed several people at speed. Eight dead, fifteen wounded ... But they can’t immediately punish the killer driver: he is hiding from the scene, and later the car is found abandoned without any signs of hacking ... Who was driving a dangerous foreign car? Who owns the car? Hodges, busy day and night investigating this complicated case, does not have time to catch the criminal - in the midst of investigative work he is sent to a well-deserved rest. True, one cannot rest. Even after the resignation, Hodges continues to search for the rider, not even suspecting how it will all end.

The story "Mr. Mercedes", which formed the basis of the storyline of the eponymous series, was published in the summer of 2014 and immediately received the title of best book of the year.

One of the main roles in the series was to play the Russian actor Anton Yelchin. But he died tragically some time after his candidacy was approved for filming. As a result, the role went to the British actor Harry Treadaway.
